ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

For each stage of the school there are certain requirements that must be met for acceptance into Trinity Christian School. They are as follows:

Preschool

  • Applicant must be 2 years of age by August 1.
  • Applicant must be potty trained by age 3.
  • At least one parent of applicant must be a Christian and actively involved in a local church.
  • Birth Certificate, immunization records, and child custody papers if applicable.
  • Parents must understand the mission of Trinity Christian School.
  • Parents and student must interview with administration.

K5-5th

  • K5 applicant must be five by August 1.
  • In order to be considered a TCS student for the current school year’s fall semester, students must be on campus and attending classes by no later than the Tuesday after Labor Day. In order to be considered a TCS student for the current school year’s spring semester, students must be on campus and attending classes by no later than the Tuesday after Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition, students must remain on campus and attend classes at TCS until testing has concluded for the school year, which is the last week of the current school year’s calendar. A virtual learning platform for a student will only be on specified days or in extreme circumstances such as inclement weather, sudden illnesses that require hospitalization, etc., all which require approval by the TCS administration team. These deadlines and directives ensure we provide the best possible education for our students with minimal disruptions to instructional time.
  • At least one parent of applicant must be a Christian and actively involved in a local church.
  • Birth certificate, immunization records and child custody papers, if applicable.
  • 1st-8th applicant must provide a report card and achievement test results for the previous two years and for the current year. Trinity Christian will request these records from the current school.
  • Applicant must have a satisfactory conduct record
  • Admission test may be required.
  • TCS cannot remediate for more than a six month reading deficit.
  • Parents must understand the mission of Trinity Christian School.
  • Parents and student must interview with administration.

6th-12th

  • In order to be considered a TCS student for the current school year’s fall semester, students must be on campus and attending classes by no later than the Tuesday after Labor Day. In order to be considered a TCS student for the current school year’s spring semester, students must be on campus and attending classes by no later than the Tuesday after Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition, students must remain on campus and attend classes at TCS until testing has concluded for the school year, which is the last week of the current school year’s calendar.   • Applicant must have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior and come from a home where at least one parent of applicant is a Christian and actively involved in a local Bible-believing church.
  • Along with their parents, applicant is actively involved in a local Bible-believing church who supports the Trinity Christian High School statement of faith.
  • Applicant must provide a report card and achievement test results for the previous two years and for the current year. Trinity Christian will request these records from the current school.
  • Applicant must have a satisfactory conduct record.
  • Birth certificate, immunization records and child custody papers, if applicable.
  • Applicant is achieving an average of a “C” grade in the present school year.
  • Applicant must have satisfactory grades with no failing marks.
  • Applicant should desire to attend Trinity Christian High School and willing to comply with the school standards as stated in the handbook.
  • Admission test may be required.
  • TCS cannot remediate for more than a six month reading deficit.

All new students are accepted on a trial basis for the first grading period, and the school reserves the right to transfer students to the grade level at which they are actually performing. New or returning students who do not begin school during the first week that school is in session, will need to take a readiness test to determine grade placement at the time he/she desires to begin attending and depending on space availability. The school also reserves the right to release any student, preschool through 12th grade, for poor conduct or performance.
